About Artbaanoo
Artbaanoo is a mother-and-daughter studio born from a shared love for art and quiet moments of presence.
We are close in age and have always felt more like two dear friends than two different generations. For many years, each of us has been exploring art in our own way — drawing, creating handmade pieces, and finding comfort in the act of making.
For the past decade we have been living in two different countries, far from one another. Yet despite the distance, our hearts have never felt apart. In many ways, we have remained each other’s calmest place.
For us, creating art has always been more than making something beautiful. It has been a way of returning to the present moment. When you draw, write, or work with your hands, your attention naturally settles into what you are doing. The noise of the past and the worries of the future fade away, leaving only the quiet focus of now.
Over time we learned something important: leaving the place we once called home does not mean losing it. Home is not only a place. Sometimes, home lives within us.
Wherever we go, we carry it with us.
In the middle of a fast, restless world, we return to this inner home through the simple things that bring us peace — a cup of coffee, a quiet moment, a few lines of drawing, or the rhythm of calligraphy flowing on paper.
For many years we dreamed of creating something together. A shared space where our ideas, experiences, and love for art could meet. That dream became Artbaanoo, a name that can be translated as “Lady of Art.”
Through our hand-drawn illustrations and Persian calligraphy, we invite you to pause for a moment — to sit quietly, observe, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.
In a world that is always rushing forward, this is our gentle reminder:
slow down,
be present,
and remember the home that lives within you.
